Through personal and professional relationships. NARI members have seen measurable increases in business by being a part of NARI Minnesota. Successful businesses surround themselves with successful people. Build a powerful network of “contacts of influence” in your industry and adjacent industries.
Education/Certifications
Our strong relationship with NARI National will continue to provide our members the opportunity and resources to stay ahead of the curve in the remodeling industry. NARI National offers six certifications (link to the certifications page) to members.
Industry Recognition
As a contractor, being able to compete locally and nationally in the Contractor of the Year Awards is a true measure of how your work compares to other accomplished industry leaders.
Branding
In addition to attaching our brand to good works in the community, NARI Minnesota has numerous local media partners that continue to advance and promote the NARI Minnesota brand and the businesses that are associated with it. Additionally, a national consumer awareness campaign is under way to strengthen the NARI brand.
Programs/Events
- Gather & Grow Meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 3 times a year. These meetings include a speaker, networking, and a mini-trade show.
- Firm Nights are held 4 times a year in March, June, September, and December. Firm Nights are networking opportunities held at member showrooms highlighting new advances in technology, new offerings, and more. Each Firm Night has a small educational component about the company or product.
- NARI Minnesota also has a yearly Bowling outing in January, a Golf outing in July, and either a brewery networking event, a Saints game, or a United FC game in August.
- NARI Minnesota provides educational training during the year and through our members. These training sessions can include continuing education credits from the Minnesota Department of Labor.
- We have several affinity programs that are available to our chapter members and as a member of NARI National, our members have access to the National affinity programs.
Member to Member Benefits
Member to Member Deals - A member may have an offer for other members such as an ongoing offer for business with NARI of MN members. These are added to the Member Information Center where they can be seen by all members.
Hot Deals - A member may have an offer for other members such as a sale for NARI of MN members and others. This could be a savings during the month of February, a basement sale, or end of season sale.
Educational Promotions -
Members that have an educational event that may be of interest to other members may post the event on the Member Profile. The educational listing should include the following information:
- Event title
- Date/time
- Location
- Cost to attend
- CEU information
- Graphics/pictures
An educational event can include training, a Q&A for members, or any other opportunity for members to sign up and attend an event.
Grand Opening -
When a member has a grand opening that member may ask for the following:
- Notice in the weekly e-news – one time only.
- Notice in social media – one time only.
- Presence of a member of the NARI of MN Board of Directors.
Open House -
When a member is holding an Open House that member may ask for the following:
- Notice in the weekly e-news – one time only.
- Notice in social media – one time only.
NARI National Benefits
- Complimentary company listing under “Find a Professional Remodeler” on https://remodelingdoneright.nari.org Remodeling company members are encouraged to choose up to 10 specialties listed once you sign into the Members Only section. Members can also create an enhanced listing, include a company description, logo and project images.
- NARI members receive weekly business intelligence via NARI’s e-newsletter NARI Newswatch.
- NARI education and certification programs help you run your business more efficiently and are also a great marketing tool. Learn more by clicking on the Pro Development tab at NARI.org.
- NARI University is designed to help you make your company more profitable, navigate the critical issues facing the remodeling industry and identify industry and product trends. Education is provided through discussion groups and webinars.
- NARI Business Tools help members save time and money through the following programs:
Home Depot PRO Rebate Program. NARI members signed up for the program receive a 2% rebate based on purchases made at The Home Depot. The Home Depot PRO Rebate Program pays out every 6 months (Jan-June and July-Dec) when you spend a minimum of $12,500. It’s literally free money on purchases you’re already making. All NARI members in good standing are eligible for this rebate. Don’t miss out on a program that covers the cost of your NARI membership and then some!
